The Sea-Dweller is a line of diver's watches developed in 1960's noted for its extreme water resistance. When Comex (Compagnie Maritime d'Expertises) set the world open-sea diving record at a depth of 534 meters in 1988, the Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller accompanied the divers on their mission – it has since become standard equipment among the world of marine engineering. The late founder of Comex said of this model, that “having a precise, robust, reliable watch was of vital importance.”
