In the first of a One to Watch series looking at what got everyone talking at Baselworld, David Duggan shares his top Rolex picks from this year’s fair.
Master Ultra slim | Perpetual Calendar
Housed in an elegant case just 9.2 mm thick, the movement of this perpetual calendar watch is remarkably slender.
The dial of this perpetual calendar, displaying the day, date, year and moon phases, is a study in balance and readability.
Once set, this automatic winding watch requires no further adjustment until 2100. Its perpetual calendar mechanism takes account of the number of days per month and adds a February 29th for each leap year.
