David Duggan Watches are located in a covered shopping arcade that was built in 19th century built behind Bond Street from Piccadilly through to Burlington Gardens named Burlington Arcade.

The famous Burlington Arcade was designed by Samuel Ware and built for Lord George Cavendish in the years between 1818–19.

The Burlington Arcade built to fit the purpose of selling fancy jewellery and fashionable accessories for the gratification of the public.

The single straight top-lit walkaway with seventy-two small two storey units arcade opened in 1819 as a European shopping gallery and creates employment to industries females.

On March 26th 1836, a fire in London had destroyed the Bond Street Bazaar and the fire spread into the arcade through an iron door caused an extensive damage to a number of shops.

In the last decade, the beautiful architecture building has been the choice for preferred shooting scene for major movies such as ‘Patriot Games’ (1992) ‘101 Dalmatians’ (2000) and ‘the Scandal’ (the Profumo affair).  

The arcade now is the modern boutique shopping centre and the current tenants include a range of jewellers and dealers in antique and art, promenade of accessory shops, clothing & footwear stores and art and antique dealers.
